How do I use the Dashboard?
Use the sliders at the top of the Heat Map tab to reflect what you’re seeing in your team, such as Psychological Safety, Conflict, Escalation, Avoidance/Absence, Turnover Intent, and Service Disruptions. As you move the sliders, the Heat Index updates instantly: the black pointer on the horizontal heat strip shifts left or right (cool to hot), and the suggestions box below offers targeted actions based on your current level (Too Low, Productive, At Risk High, or Overheated). When you want to capture a snapshot for later comparison, click Save Cycle. This stores the current state—including the computed Heat Index, Adaptive Load Score, and Holding-Environment Strength—and adds a point to the SVG trend line. The colored matrix heatmap displays the last 12 saved cycles, including the “Now” column, factor by factor, so you can see which drivers are heating or cooling over time. You can export the trend as a PNG and any table (stakeholders, experiments, cycles) as CSV.
Work through the other tabs as you lead the change effort. In Diagnose, tick the adaptive characteristics to see your Adaptive Load Score, which clarifies whether you’re primarily facing technical work or adaptive work. In Stakeholders, list the groups or individuals, their likely losses, and their influence or alliances to plan engagement. In Experiments, frame small, time-boxed tests with clear signals and decision rules. In Holding Env, adjust the five levers (purpose, agreements, time, role clarity, psychological safety) to strengthen the container for difficult conversations; the HES score summarizes your overall capacity. The Save button (writes your current state to the browser), Reset (restores defaults), Export JSON (backs up your data), and Print (creates a clean printout) work across all tabs. Everything is saved locally in your browser, so you can return to the page and continue where you left off.
